The DA* zooms do a very fine job; 16-50 + 50-135 for occasions that call for wide to moderately long, and the 16-50 + 60-250 for occasions that call for more length. But still . . . I would like to see a wider zoom: DA* 9-18 or 10-20. I would like to see a longer zoom: DA* 250-500. I would like to see a DA* 400 or 500. And I would like compatible 1.4, 1.7, and 2.0 teleconverters. And a DA* 19/2.5 to replace my DA 21mm but mostly just to verify that Pentax still has a quirky sense of humor. It would be nice to have Pentax revisit its magic touch with macros, thinking particularly of DA* versions of 100 and 200mm macros. The DA* bit is important for all of the above- both for the weather sealing and the quiet fast focusing. stan -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List [email protected] http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net to UNSUBSCRIBE from the PDML, please visit the link directly above and follow the directions.
