Then again, I don't know which I dislike more - Comic Sans or the
people who go on and on about how they hate it. ;-)
I hate comic sans.  Chalkboard is slightly better, but it's still a silly font. 
As far as being an imitation goes, that's true of many, many  fonts. Futura is 
an imitation of Helvetica,  Minion Pro is a copy of Times, but that didn't stop 
Mercedes from using it. In any case, I didn't get to choose here.

anyways, I didn't mention earlier that I quite liked the photo. As a standalone photo I might have tweaked the composition a bit (come in tighter etc), but that wouldn't have left space for the text.



Paul Miles isn't hip or dialed-in to current culture. He's just a good 
musician, who has always done his own thing.
If he wants chalkboard, he gets chalkboard.
