Christine, Your pictures remind me of a church we would pass on Holman Ave west of Sear's old headquarters. (Lynn worked for Sears before they moved into the tower and we would notice this church.) The building was an old synagoge complete with external symbols and names. When the neighborhood changed, the Jews moved lock, stock, and barrel to Lincolnwood & Skokie.
