Hi Len ... Yes, but it was a long time ago, just a few years after the first model came out. I didn't like it, but in all honesty, I can't recall why. Maybe it was because I couldn't afford it.
However, I have been giving some thought to getting an R 6.2, the recently discontinued manual/mechanical model, mostly because Leica offers some lenses in focal lengths that Pentax doesn't make and because it's reported to be the best, most reliable of all Leica SLRs. There's a place nearby that has one for sale that I'd like to check out - see how it feels, how comfortable it is, what the features are, how it compares to the LX, etc. Len Paris wrote: > Have you ever used a Leica SLR?
