Took a few pix around the camera store; of course, only had the back of the camera to view them with. It's a nice little package in the hand, but I'm not sure what it's for.
My current small camera is a Canon S90 (since superseded by the S95 and S100, but still nifty). Near as I can tell, the Q has a very similar sensor, thus probably doesn't offer much more in terms of image quality or low-light usability. The body's not significantly bigger than the Canon, but the lens sticks out enough that it'll be distinctly less pocketable. I know Primes are Better, but the Canon's f2 28-105 sure is a nice little lens anyhow. My #1 gripe is that, for a pocket camera, the S90 isn't all that well sealed, and the pocket dust gets into it to an extent that it's currently off at the shop having its sensor cleaned. Maybe the Q would have better sealing? -T -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List [email protected] http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net to UNSUBSCRIBE from the PDML, please visit the link directly above and follow the directions.
