Well, the "satellite dish" lens hood that is the jen-you-wine Pentax
A 20/2.8 hood is too shallow, and it is unfortunately round, too.
(I'd prefer a deeper, rectangular hood, of course.)  But, Len, the
shape of that hood does make it easy to store (relatively speaking,
as compared to what volume it would occupy if it were a "proper"
hood).  And, when placed in its "leather" case, it does make for a
fairly trim and reasonably rugged package to store away.
