Yes, it's a huge improvement in most respects. Faster, easier uploading, viewing and voting. In a way I miss being able to preview batches of thumbnails when voting (made it easier to spot people who werre uploading 10 versions of the same shot!) but I'll happily accept the trade-off for improved speed. I really wish they would still allow you to submit a photo for multiple categories (travel/nature/landscape) but it's easy to imaging how that might have been abused by people classifying a photo into every category (or too many categories) so I suspect they had no choice. Huge improvement all round. I wish I could get my students to sign up for the PPG. For the voting if nothing else: Viewing, thinking about and critiquing images is a great way to make yourself think about your own photography and photographs. Voting seems like a chore at times but there's never a session in which I don't learn something. -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List [email protected] http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net to UNSUBSCRIBE from the PDML, please visit the link directly above and follow the directions.
