I am ecstatic!

The PPG accepted one of my earliest images taken with my Asahi
Spotmatic and Super-Takumar 50mmF1.4 back in 1966! I don't think it
has a great degree of artistic merit, but it has a lot of meaning for
me, and it feels good to think that a few other people saw a little
something in it as well.

I had used this image for a PUG entry years ago (when everything had
to be scanned) by scanning a print, but it was not really an
acceptable scan. Earlier this year, I found the original slide,
cleaned it up a bit, and scanned that. I still had to clean up some
dust and water marks in PhotoShop, and decrease the noise with Neat
Image, but I got a better result and submitted it to PPG last July.
