I tried it just a few minutes ago, and it worked fine for me. The
name must be highlighted in the lower list, even if it is spelled out
completely in the "search box." That fooled me the first time I
searched for my name.

and I had done the opposite at first - thinking double clicking the
highlighted name was what was needed... took several visits before I saw
the red arrow and the "go"...
I just checked in to my "dashboard" and saw a bunch of photos I uploaded
in July there, pending. and one "declined" which, amusingly, was the
one that came up when I voted last week.
What is interesting is it looks like someone went through and made the
decision on what category my images that were pending best fell into -
in a couple of instances, different than what I would have chosed as
primary.
Haven't tried to upload anymore in the last couple of days.
I included the link to my pages wondering why it differs from
Dan's (aside from our names of course!)

My profile has returned!
Three more of my old submissions were accepted, for a total of four
since the gallery started up again. Twice as many now show up in the
"Declined" gallery, but that's OK.. I now have exceeded my age in the
number of images in my PPG gallery! It was a silly goal, but I need
something to aim for.
My "Pending Photos" section now shows only submissions from July; the
recent ones are gone from there at least. The "Approved in Gallery"
section now shows only those approved in the last two days, whereas
before it included the entire approved gallery. All of my approved
photos are visible, however, if one selects my gallery from a link or
from the "Artist" list on the main page.
Obviously, they are still fine-tuning the system, but so far I like
the changes that they made. This site makes it easier to upload
images, and the gallery is more attractive to visitors, IMO.

Same here. But the online gallery contains the accepted photos and
the profile info... ???

Looking at the two 'remaining' ones, I see that they were uploaded some
months ago so they were ones that were 'pending' when the gallery closed
temporarily. The interesting thing is that I've uploaded those again in
the last couple of days so it seems that there are now two versions of
those images going through the approval process.....

Certainly something odd going on. Almost ALL of the photos in my
gallery have disappeared from my login page - only two of the ones I
recently uploaded are present. Clicking on the 'Approved in Gallery'
link returns "There are currently no photos in this section". Hmmmm.
Like you, all of the profile data has also disappeared.
But all of the approved images still appear on my publicly viewable
gallery.
Hope they get this sorted soon
Cheers
