At the PDML Marin gathering, on two occasions my K-5 locked up, with the mirror up. Turning the power off, and back on, fixed the problem. Someone suggested that it might have been low batteries, so I shrugged it off.
Tonight, when I was shooting belt tests at the dojo, with a fresh battery in the camera, it did it again. The first time it did it, I noticed what seemed to be a normally exposed frame flash on the LCD. I have one frame from tonight that was all black. Has anyone else had a similar problem? I'm not sure, but I believe that both of the shots happened with the transcend rather than the sandisk memory card in the camera. I have noticed that the camera did seem to respond a bit more sluggishly with the transcend card. I suspect that these details are just spurious and coincidental, but that was the only thing in common with the two locked up frames that was different from a significant number of other frames. -- Larry Colen [email protected] sent from i4est -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List [email protected] http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net to UNSUBSCRIBE from the PDML, please visit the link directly above and follow the directions.
