It's not the history that bothers me.  It's that it was all history.

What is Pentax doing today that reaches the level of excellence that he talks 
about with regard to those beautiful Tak lenses?  There is a lot to say which 
he did not know how to say.  The essay requires an sequel.

The question is, then:  What does Pentax do today which equals or surpasses the 
others?  50-135/2.8?  K5?  K-r/K-x?  FA50/1.4, 31/1.8, 77/1.8?  SDM? WR?
