I recall that the drivers side top of that camera was a busy place, especially considering that it was a relatively unfeatured camera. My FE make me gobs of money though. By the time I was done with it the shutter was actually bronzing out because the anodizing was wearing off the leaves of the shutter curtains.
so this little camera is in tip top shape. except there looks like there is a cap missing on the base plate.. under the takeup reel - a little circle with 4 brass things that look like it was meant for a battery contact? Oh... did this thing ever take a motor drive?
Yup, it took a motor drive. I had one for my FE. Let me tell you, the FE with the motor drive and the SB15 speedlight was a wonderful little piece of kit to shoot candids with.
