I recall that the drivers side top of that camera was a busy place, especially considering that it was a relatively unfeatured camera. My FE make me gobs of money though. By the time I was done with it the shutter was actually bronzing out because the anodizing was wearing off the leaves of the shutter curtains.

Yup, it took a motor drive. I had one for my FE. Let me tell you, the FE with the motor drive and the SB15 speedlight was a wonderful little piece of kit to shoot candids with.
