Back in the days (1998) when selling tons of used equipment from a defunct camera store on eBay, I picked up several dozen lens boards, lots of small boxes with strange labels such as Sixma, Sixmo, a color head for a Durst 660, as well as an aged Tim-O-Lite, thinking they would fit my model Durst 600. They didn't. Well, the timer did. Seven years ago I found a complete 660 at Goodwill, so I bought it for $18.00. Still have it. I'll never use it. But it completes me. Now all I have to do is find which box has the parts, and where the enlarger is. It's been to California and back, because I like to rent the largest U-Haul trucks every few years and move all my possessions to a different place, then unpacking it all. This last time, I figured I'd NOT unpack, saving oodles of time the next time my wanderlust strikes. The downside is if you want something, you may spend a week shuffling plastic storage bins around the basement. There is a word of wisdom that is developed here. If a person searches through many stage bins looking for an item, at least two or more bins are required to fit the searched stuff back in, even though material has been removed.
