Most (over 90% I'm sure) of the swans around our area are muted swans, but once in a while we see trumpeters, which this fellow is:
http://knarfdummyblog.blogspot.com/2011/11/trumpeter.html Every trumpeter I've seen has been tagged, as this one is, just below his right wing. Doesn't look like it would be very comfortable, but I'm sure some government conservation official thinks tracking it over-rides the swan's convenience. Anyway, this was taken at dusk at high ISO, so there's a bit of noise to be seen around the darker parts of the swan. Still, I rather like it and I hope you do, too. Comments always welcome. cheers, frank -- "Sharpness is a bourgeois concept." -Henri Cartier-Bresson -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List [email protected] http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net to UNSUBSCRIBE from the PDML, please visit the link directly above and follow the directions.
