I like it a lot, Frank. This is one of those compositions that I feel might 
benefit from being symmetrical.  IOW, I'd have to try a left side crop 
sufficient to take a look at a centered swan. 
Congratulations on your restraint in rendering the whites.

Most (over 90% I'm sure) of the swans around our area are muted swans,
but once in a while we see trumpeters, which this fellow is:

Every trumpeter I've seen has been tagged, as this one is, just below
his right wing.  Doesn't look like it would be very comfortable, but
I'm sure some government conservation official thinks tracking it
over-rides the swan's convenience.

Anyway, this was taken at dusk at high ISO, so there's a bit of noise
to be seen around the darker parts of the swan.  Still, I rather like
it and I hope you do, too.  Comments always welcome.
