I posted a similar photo some time ago, but I don't have a copy
currently on line, nor do I have a processed file that I can just put up
for comparison. Pretty much all swans look alike with that "I'm a
badass" expression.

In any event, I like the composition very much; especially the erect
neck, with the head almost, but not quite, in line with the neck, and
the shadow of the neck leading the bird. What really makes the shot
for me, however, is the symmetry of the wake, and how the wake lend a
feeling of motion and tempo to the shot.

Every trumpeter I've seen has been tagged, as this one is, just below
his right wing. Doesn't look like it would be very comfortable, but
I'm sure some government conservation official thinks tracking it
over-rides the swan's convenience.
Anyway, this was taken at dusk at high ISO, so there's a bit of noise
to be seen around the darker parts of the swan. Still, I rather like
it and I hope you do, too. Comments always welcome.
