Taken yesterday at the local state managed wildlife area.
This is just a small section of a sky that looked and sounded the same in all
directions..unbelievable!
Comments?

wonderful shot; i like the striping effect of birds moving in different
directions
i was privileged to spend a dawn at Bosque del Apache in central New Mexico
several years ago
<http://www.fws.gov/southwest/refuges/newmex/bosque/>
and i would love to go back with better camera skills; at a small lake there,
at certain seasonal peaks, a similar number of snow geese, along with cranes,
ducks, grebes and a few other species, all roost on the water, and start to
stir as the the sky brightens, then something triggers them and they all take
off at once (you have to take a short hike in to where this happens, yet i
don't believe anyone was shat upon)
