wonderful shot; i like the striping effect of birds moving in different 
directions

i was privileged to spend a dawn at Bosque del Apache in central New Mexico 
several years ago

and i would love to go back with better camera skills; at a small lake there, 
at certain seasonal peaks, a similar number of snow geese, along with cranes, 
ducks, grebes and a few other species, all roost on the water, and start to 
stir as the the sky brightens, then something triggers them and they all take 
off at once (you have to take a short hike in to where this happens, yet i 
don't believe anyone was shat upon)
