These pics are from a trip to the West Coast that we took on November
19-22. The Mrs was going over to do some work on the Monday so we
made a weekend of it.
The day we went over was the first anniversary of the Pike River mine
disaster and they were unveiling a new memorial in central Greymouth.
We didn't make it over in time to attend the service but we went to
see it before heading home, and I've included a photo in the
gallery.

I see the strange artifact again. Thinking about it just now, I wonder
if maybe it was upside down. If you turned it over, it might be a form
for nailing together a coffin.
