These pics are from a trip to the West Coast that we took on November 19-22.
The Mrs was going over to do some work on the Monday so we made a weekend of it.
The day we went over was the first anniversary of the Pike River mine disaster
and they were unveiling a new memorial in central Greymouth. We didn't make it
over in time to attend the service but we went to see it before heading home,
and I've included a photo in the gallery.

i enjoyed seeing the landscape along your trip, but i especially liked the
"backyard" photo; the composition is interesting, it feels inviting, and the
green kayak, while it makes sense in the scene, also is very plant-like and
incongruous
