My reply:

IMHO, making a mirrorless and not making it much thinner than a SRL is like making ice creams and not freezing them. However, I agree that supplying an adapter between systems of same sensor size is an absolute must. In this case, the adapter could and should trasmit everyhing electric/electronic between camera and lens. I'm not sure that equipping the camera with mechanical couplings is the best thing one can do nowadays, hence I'm not sure about iris actuator and screwdriver AF in that adapter.
