about as little manipulation as you can get. RAW image into Lightroom, 2/3 
stops exposure added. That is it. No fiddling with color balance, contrast, 
clarity/vibrance/saturation, sharpening, etc. etc. To my eye it is a good 
capture of the almost eerie tonality of the original scene.

That was about the most realistic scene I could imagine... took me back to Maine - it could have been the view from in back of the house
we lived in on the Stillwater river, briefly - it brought a particular
day from my past to life.

See Larry's point, though, since he lives in an area of redwoods and
evergreens and a different color to the earth as well...
