I've never tried the Metz, though they have an excellent reputation. I do have the Pentax 540 and can definitely vouch for it. I don't know what the hot shoe sticking problem might be but I've never had it! Build quality seems good but what is really exceptional about it is the user-friendliness. It's the most intuitive and easy-to-use PTTL flash I've ever used. -- Mark Roberts - Photography & Multimedia www.robertstech.com -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List [email protected] http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net to UNSUBSCRIBE from the PDML, please visit the link directly above and follow the directions.
