Yes, P�l, quite silly. The same attitudes/platitudes (generally rehashed from the frontrunners' literature) show up in the rec.photo newsgroups, too. The main problem, though, is that Pentax has done little to counteract those old chestnuts. Wherever its confused design direction has failed to make it look bad, its inept marketing has stepped in to fill the breach. A real shame. However, I think that you (and also Brian) did provide good rebuttals. The record will also show that at least one PDML member weighed in for "the opposition" - not that I'm saying that there is anything wrong with hyphenated loyalties or anything, mind you...
