Well, your post brings up an interesting question. Of professional photographers who purchase their own equipment, as apposed to those who use company, or pool equipment, what precentage use each brand and model. I have no idea how one would find out, but I would bet that the use is more evenly distributed than most peaple would guess.
And, another thing to think about, just because the EOS1 is use by a lot of pros, it does not mean a Rebel is a better camera than an ZX7.
