My best answer is:  as far as as I  know, yes.  It was put in my bag
about a week ago, after charging until the green light on the charger
went off.

The original is charging now... I must say I'm skittish about putting
the wacky battery back in there.

This is why I changed out the batt when i first saw the charge was
depleted -- looked "2/3 full"... I do think AF works better fully
charged on the 50-135, too...
