Yes. I had two of them. Pentax cheapened the aperture mechanism on the A50/1.7 by using a plastic aperture ring. Inside, there is a little springy tang that falls into notches and adjusts the throw of the iris actuating mechanism. This steel tang is fastened to the plastic by two heat-expanded plastic nubbins. Over time, it tends to work loose and slip off, which causes the ring to jam. My camera tech took the ring off, pulled out the fallen spring tang, then re-fixed it in place with a little screw and some glue.
