Vow Dan, enthralling capture of of this huge beauty. Did you crop some of this amphibian out? If yes, can you post the full shot. I guess you couldn't have been so close. I have played with these enormous creatures on the beaches of Oman near Sur. They come inland at night in hordes for laying eggs. And the eggs are very rubbery, soft, round and a bit larger than a pin pong ball. No photos though as flash is not allowed. They try to wade back back into the ocean before day break, but they become so weak that we had to push many of them back into the sea. They are a sight to behold in the moonlight - better than the seven wonders of the world. Bipin - from a far away enchanting land.
