Diff'rent strokes for diff'rent folks, Larry. I'm with you on books. Love 'em. I find that videos typically crawl annoyingly along, as do spoken-word presentations. If I view a video I often fast-forward it to pick up the pace. At least books on tape can be sped up with modern players. But they're both useless as references.
But some people simply can't learn from a book and insist on a video, or attending a seminar. You know though, some things can't be explained well in a book and are a snap to get in a video, like certain posing techniques.
