For some reason, with the font they used, "color" looked an awful lot like "colon". > > It appears the biggest improvement is its capacity to induce even > deeper epileptic seizures, if we go by this advertising. > > But seriously, what sensor are they going to use (must still be Sony > 16MP)? And how will they improve upon the already great-for-the-price > K-r? Interesting. I have a friend who teaches photography in a local high school, who at my recommendation bought a couple of K-x's for the class. I also sold him a bunch of my "beater" lenses very cheaply. Hi Larry, I've got a grant to resupply my photo classes. I'm going to stick with Pentax, does it make sense to move up from the kx? I suggested that he look for used K-r's. When I get his email, I'll probably post a query to the list. I suspect he might also be interested in inexpensive used lenses. > > Cameras are now plateauing in their capabilities so I'm wondering what > Pentax can bring to the table. Oh, yeah, how about better AF!?!?!? I think that the single biggest thing Pentax could do to sell more cameras is to get them into stores where people can buy them. > -- Larry Colen [email protected] sent from i4est -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List [email protected] http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net to UNSUBSCRIBE from the PDML, please visit the link directly above and follow the directions.
