Hi all,

I saw this little dude lying down in the field behind my house from a distance and at first thought it was a newborn calf. So, while making sure to keep a reasonably safe distance, I rolled under the barbed wire and walked out with the K-x/Tokina 28-200 3.5/5.3 in hand. As I got to a place where I could frame both the calf and its mama cow in the shot, it stood up. At that point, it was obvious it wasn't a newborn.

It was also obvious that mama cow was a little skeptical of my presence, so I took a quick shot and moseyed my way back to and under the fence where I belong.

Comments and suggestions welcome as always.

Thanks!
