Nice one. I really like the oof pickup and trailers in the background. They really give the photo a sense of place. And that bovine has attitude!

So, while making sure to keep a reasonably safe distance, I rolled under the barbed wire and walked out with the K-x/Tokina 28-200 3.5/5.3 in hand. As I got to a place where I could frame both the calf and its mama cow in the shot, it stood up. At that point, it was obvious it wasn't a newborn.
