Pentax is certainly aware of pentaxforums.com - they plug it regularly on Facebook. I also know that someone from Pentax USA checks in on the PDML from time to time, though I don't know how often - that's how I got invited to the K-X press extravaganza in NYC a couple of years ago. The thing is, Pentax is well aware that these online groups represent a very small and very specialized section of their overall customer base, so there's a definite limit to how much and what kind of action they consider taking from information obtained from these sources.
