Sorry to hear that, you could always try sending it off the Kirk at
http://pentaxs.com/ for a repair estimate. He was able to bring my A
24mm f2.8 back from the dead. It's probably not worth it for a lens
that you can sometimes pick up for as little as $50.00 though.
