I am going to assume this will be available to read on the wifes
Kobo.??
Yep, Kobo reader is on the list of devices that support ePub format.
I also note that there is now software that will convert ePub format
into something readable by the Amazon Kindle Fire (but not earlier
Kindles). I haven't tried it but it might be something Kindle Fire
owners should look into.
Calibre is open source software that will convert ePub to mobi format
(and lots of other formats as well). Mobi format is readable on
Kindle - even the older ones.
I have the 2011 Annual on my Kindle but, of course, the older Kindles
are monochrome only so it's of limited value - but still nice to have.
Is the 2011 Annual still available in an electronic format?

Don't lose heart! They might want to cut it out, and they'll want to avoid a
lengthily search.
