Nothing about this is right, I headed out to the local nature preserve
thinking I'd packed the A*300 my bag. But no I hadn't I had the Vivitar
s1 70-210 which is a pretty nice lens, but just doesn't like working
with the AF 1.7x adapter. However I made a go of it anyway. This is
one of the best shots from this afternoon. Soft, with blown
highlights, it was a dreary flat light day, which I would have thought
would lower the contrast range enough to actually get good photos of
Great Egrets...
But here it is anyway.
