I'd say that's a problem with your dealer, assuming you did not buy directly from Leica. Over here I would take the camera to the dealer and he has the legal responsibility to sort things out because my sale contract is with him, not with his suppliers. If he pisses people off he quickly gets a bad name and goes out of business. My dealers have always been very good, and if I'd spent that much money with them I'd expect at least a <leave it to your imagination> every time I walked into the shop.
