Hello Alex, I own the Sigma 24-70 2.8 EX. This lens fit my situation extremely well. It is inexpensive, nice and wide (24mm) and after shooting some film it produces some excellent images. I even shot directly into the late afternoon sun and I did not get any flare whatsoever. I only got a beautiful star effect. So far it has exceeded my expectations.
