No, you didn't say it was AF. Now that I review the thread I see that I misread a post by Igor which made me misaprehend the situation.
So I don't envy you autofocus. However my lens is a completely manual lens, so I envy you the A position on the aperture dial. ;-) It is a nice lens and on your K5 it should be ideal for low-level bar lighting.
