I have my plasma screen and audio equipment hooked up to a large Monster surge
protector and power regulator. When the power goes out, it automatically shuts
down, and power is limited during normal operation. A push of a button restarts
it after the power has come back on. It sells for a couple hundred bucks, but
it's good protection. I should get one for the computer and hard drives.
