i have a 1GB WD dual drive RAID unit; it's still working, but it's noisy and RAID 0 performance rarely outweighs the potential for failure for me, so it sits idle; it was remarkably cheap for a fast Firewire 800 drive at the time, so it got past my dislike of manufacturer-packaged drives
