I didn't reply to the original post because, frankly, the requirements sounded a little unrealistic. However, I am a bit surprised that nobody mentioned iMovie which allows you to make awesome slideshows and export them as a QuickTime movie (which you can then play on your Mac as a loop, if desired). It isn't free, but as part of the iWork suite it may be something you already have on your computer (or should for "Pages" alone).
I'm not sure iMovie will read your mind or wipe your nose for you, but i has some default behaviors that you can change (or tailor to your heart's content, should you choose to). I just don't think there is probably any program that is going to start up and ask you: How many seconds on each slide? What style of transition would you like? What folder contains the images? Checkbox for "also include images in subfolders". Checkbox for "randomize images". Radio button for "repeat" (field for this many times, 0 means forever) or "play once and stop". iMovie also has the benefit of allowing you to easily add a soundtrack to play behind the slides. -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List [email protected] http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net to UNSUBSCRIBE from the PDML, please visit the link directly above and follow the directions.
