I have been using Dropbox for a while. It has worked well, but I have
had two instances in which the entire set of folders was "deleted". I
was able to go back and restore them in both cases, but am at a loss
to determine why the were deleted.

If you're going to use cloud storage, you probably should have duplicate
providers in case one of them gets megauploaded.
