While I can't dispute his other points about film being beloved and
all, Olivier Laurent's claim:

"The resolution is still a thousand times higher than most digital
cameras can offer so long as a good scanner is used."

... is questionable at best and probably just wrong. Considering
available scanner resolution and film grain size, I'm pretty sure that
pixels have met and exceeded film for resolution.
