Just a note: How many of you couldn't work out at first what it meant when you read that Kodak was selling its "personal Imaging Business"? It puzzled me. But it means their film and paper business (plus their print kiosks and some more... I think).
They stopped selling Kodak digital cameras earlier this year or late last year.
Personalized Imaging was kiosks; consumer film, paper & chemicals; and souvenir photo products at theme parks. I think the "Kodak Picture Spot" signs are just being abandoned in place.
They're still keeping Commercial Film & Specialty Chemicals, which I think is the group that provisions & services mini-labs.
Makes me sad. -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List [email protected] http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net to UNSUBSCRIBE from the PDML, please visit the link directly above and follow the directions.
