I don't plan on buying the overpriced Pentax optical viewfinder. For the normal lens, I plan on making one of my own that will slip in the hotshoe. For a normal view, just about any wide-normal viewfinder can be stolen from an old thrift store film camera... maybe even a 110.
For telephoto work, I plan to experiment with a red dot laser. It doesn't paint a laser on your target but just projects on in the "sky" or whatever field of view Perhaps one can do macro with a lesser lens, but the F100 is going to probably require a tripod and focus stage to work with. I don't see how one can do handheld work with it, but you have to remember that with that lens you working at a 550mm equiv. FOV. I may try to handhold some 28mm or 50mm stuff and work my way up, for handheld. -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List [email protected] http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net to UNSUBSCRIBE from the PDML, please visit the link directly above and follow the directions.
