Prefacing my comment with the caveat that I haven't actually handled a
K-5 or K-7, I will say that other than an aperture simulator the one
thing I'd like to see returned to Pentax K mount bodies is a dedicated
SR switch. For one thing Pentax /still/ recommends in very strong terms
that SR be turned off when using a camera support,. and I've personally
noticed that SR used with the wrong focal length set, which is very easy
to achieve with an A class zoom mounted, often produces worse captures
than having SR entirely turned off.
Otherwise retaining the K-5/7 body seems to be one of the best ideas
Pentax has had so far.

Enjoy.

Don't lose heart, they might want to cut it out, and they'll want to avoid a
lengthly search.
