Like the photo!

And I don't recall seeing any of your photos that are anywhere near atrocious.
Don't be so hard on yourself! Your body of work (that I've seen) is of a very
high quality.

cheers,
frank

ps: Bird trivia: Eagles don't sound very majestic or impressive. Red tailed
hawks do. They have the best hawkish screech out there. So almost every time we
see an eagle in a movie or on tv and hear that screech echoing from our
speakers, it's actually a red-tailed hawk doing a "voice over".

Subject: PESO: Red Tail Hawk (?)

So, I've got this spiffy new monitor and I'm going through my images to
see how they look, and I'm absolutely stunned at how atrocious some of
them are! I'd been using an old 19" CRT up until now and had no idea
they were that awful. It's a wonder anything I ever shot came out as a
decent print. I wish someone had told me a long time ago. I'm thoroughly
embarrassed by some of the photos I thought were fairly decent.

That said, I also found this shot which I didn't realize I had. I think
it's a Red Tail Hawk, since it's hawk-like in appearance and has a
vaguely red tail.

In any event, I'm still a bit mortified by some of the images I've been
publishing under the misapprehension that they're usable photos. Makes
me want to scrap my entire library and start anew!
