Thanks for looking, Joe. I don't know if he is mean, but he certainly stands his ground. My dog first discovered him about a month ago, while it was still light. The dog tried to take the creature in his mouth (as dog are wont to do), but immediately spit it out. The dog then shook his head repeatedly for a minute or more, sticking out his tongue. I guess the critter really tastes bad. <G>
