I too have a replacement shutter mechanism in my K-5. I have had a couple of issues in the past week where it just did some whacky shit with the flash attached. Not allowing me to set the shutter speed faster than 1/90 second, and other things. I had to take the battery out of the camera for a few seconds to get it to behave. I think it happened the first time about a week ago in SF, and I forgot about it until it happened to me again yesterday.
